This is a rewarding role where you'll take the lead on tackling anti-social behaviour (ASB), harassment and hate crime issues, balancing prevention, diversion and enforcement to achieve positive outcomes for customers and communities. Working closely with residents, colleagues, partner agencies and legal teams, you'll play a vital role in making our neighbourhoods safer places to live.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Providing advice and guidance to customers, colleagues and partners on community safety and ASB-related matters.
    • Managing a complex caseload, ensuring cases are progressed efficiently and in line with policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
    • Developing strong working relationships with local authorities, support agencies, police and community organisations to address neighbourhood issues.
    • Chairing and attending multi-agency meetings to coordinate effective interventions and solutions.
    • Preparing legal documentation, witness statements and evidence bundles for court proceedings.
    • Working closely with legal representatives in relation to injunctions, possession proceedings and breaches of court orders.
    • Attending court hearings and providing evidence where required.
    • Maintaining accurate records, case notes and management information to support robust case management and reporting.
    • Supporting and promoting community safety initiatives, awareness campaigns and partnership events across our neighbourhoods.
    • Identifying opportunities for funding, partnership projects and innovative approaches to improve community safety outcomes.
